Nashua, NH - February 10, 2010 -
HiSoftware Inc. (www.hisoftware.com),

company has released HiSoftware
Compliance Sheriff® for SharePoint
v3.3. The release extends the
functionality of Compliance Sheriff
for SharePoint to include integrated
content compliance for multiple
eContent mediums including document
libraries, email, and SharePoint
collaborative tools including blogs
and wikis, MySites and TeamSites, as
well as intranets and public facing
websites.
Natalie Nichols, Managing
Director of NTP Group, a leading
SharePoint services organization in
Brisbane, Australia said, “The
control of content within SharePoint
is paramount to an organization’s
governance strategy. HiSoftware
Compliance Sheriff is the ideal

types of content that are used
across SharePoint environments.”
Key new features of HiSoftware

for multiple document formats,
including DOC, DOCX, PDF, and
TXT.

collaborative media including
blogs and wikis, MySites and
TeamSites.
- Web monitoring capabilities
for:
- Intranet Enterprise Content

The new release also includes the
optional
Accessibility Foundation
Module (AFM). AFM provides users
with a set of tools to create an
accessible platform/framework for a
SharePoint portal or intranet site.
AFM is integrated into the
Compliance Sheriff offering to
provide a more complete and
easy-to-deploy method of addressing
SharePoint framework accessibility.
The most significant advantage of
AFM is the enterprise-friendly
installation method that allows a
SharePoint Server Administrator to
easily apply a master configuration
to multiple SharePoint Applications.
Improvements were also made to the
control adapters, making it much
easier to customize, add, or
subtract them as needed.
Thomas Logan, HiSoftware Vice
President of Product Management
commented, “By integrating the
Accessibility Foundation Module with
Compliance Sheriff, SharePoint
architects and developers now have
the ability to readily identify and
address issues in their code, deploy
fixes to their code, and ultimately
report on improvements to
accessibility compliance. Our AFM
beta site customers all experienced
significant levels of accessibility
improvements helping them meet
compliance requirements.”
Compliance Sheriff for SharePoint
is a Governance, Risk Management and
Compliance (GRC) platform for

collaboration platform on the
market. While organizations that use
SharePoint are taking advantage of
the Internet in a powerful way, they
are potentially putting themselves
at risk through uncontrolled content
creation.” He continued, “This
latest release provides a wider
umbrella for SharePoint governance
and regulatory compliance by
allowing organizations to not only
monitor their websites and intranets
for compliance, but also by
extending this capability to include
