HiSoftware, Inc. and Lighthouse
International announced a strategic
alliance today through which they will
work collaboratively with customers to
provide expert services and software
solutions for the development of usable
and accessible applications and Web
sites, which conform to US and
International accessibility standards
and guidelines.
Lighthouse International is a leading
resource worldwide on vision impairment
and vision rehabilitation. Founded in

Under their agreement, Lighthouse will
license and use HiSoftware’s content
quality and accessibility testing
solution for use in its Accessibility
and Consulting Testing Services group
(ACTS), which assists companies in
meeting accessibility and usability
goals through education, training, and
end-user asseWSMents. Lighthouse will
also work with HiSoftware to provide
end-user testing as part of HiSoftware’s
accessibility audits for client
applications. The organizations will
work together to assist customers in
their deployment and maintenance of
accessible and usable solutions for both
Internet and intranet markets.
